Copyright is a set of exclusive rights granted by governments to regulate the use of a particular expression of an idea or information. At its most general, it is literally "the right to copy" an original creation. In most cases, these rights are of limited duration. The symbol for copyright is ©, and in some jurisdictions may alternately be written (c).

R.I.G.H.T.S. - Redistribution of Graphics Has To Stop is a new cause dedicated to educating the public on how images made by artists are sold for profit on other sites without their permission nor are they compensated for such. These so called web design sites blatantly ignore the Terms of Service pages on artist sites and are in fact breaking the law. It's worth a look as they are gaining an increasing amount of supporters.
