A book is a collection of sheets of paper, parchment or other material with a piece of text written on them, bound together along one edge within covers. A book is also a literary work or a main division of such a work. A book produced in electronic format is known as an e-book.

In library and information science, a book is called a monograph to distinguish it from serial publications such as magazines, journals or newspapers.

Publishers may produce low-cost, pre-proof editions known as galleys or 'bound proofs' for promotional purposes, such as generating reviews in advance of publication. Galleys are usually made as cheaply as possible, since they are not intended for sale.

I want a Netflix for books. When I finish one, it should send the next in queue. At no point should I have two, lest I be distracted.

@C_Gafford I mean, seriously, if she'd hadn't written the original Vampire Diaries books there wouldn't even a Vampire Diaries TV series

Review: Vaccination: 100 Years of Orthodox Research Shows that Vaccines Represent a Medical Assault on the Immune System - by Viera Scheibner Ph.D. This book (published 1993) is a concise summary of the results of orthodox medical research into vaccines and their effects. It aims to inform medical professionals, parents and the general public about short and long-term dangerous side-effects, including brain damage and death, of vaccines; of the ineffectiveness of vaccines in preventing infectious diseases, as shown by epidemics in fully vaccinated populations; and the causal link between DPT and polio vaccines and cot death.
