The World Wide Association of Specialty Programs and Schools (WWASPS or WWASP) is a Utah, United States based organization that runs programs that they claim can correct what is perceived as inappropriate behavior by children as young as 12. Parents can sign their children up for these programs at their own discretion. Juveniles can also be admitted to the facilities by court order instead of jail. No distinction is made within the programs among students admitted because of law violations and those signed up by their parents.

Critics refer to the business WWASP is in as "The Child Abuse for Hire Industry." Under US law, minors in these programs have no right to a lawyer to challenge their parents' decision, and may even be held against their will, with no ability to communicate with anyone, until age 21, if the program is located in a country where 21 is the age of majority. WWASP attacks its critics with Scientology-like tactics, calling its critics liars, and launching lawsuits at the drop of a hat. Media are rarely allowed in the secretive institutions, permitting WWASP to claim that there are few substantiated allegations of abuse.

WWASP is the outgrowth of a philosophical movement started by Steve Cartisano, a military veteran who singlehandedly jumpstarted the business of high-revenue abuse camps with the original "Challenger Foundation." The Challenger Foundation operated in Utah, a state where minors have little legal recourse against abusive treatment, and parents may delegate their parental rights to virtually anyone by signing a document. Despite criminal charges and civil suits over numerous deaths, and some time on the run as a fugitive from justice, Cartisano is still in business, and provides consulting services to many notorious institutions based on the model he designed.
