A Parsi or Parsee is a member of the close-knit Zoroastrian community in or from the Indian subcontinent, and is a descendant of people who, in the 8th century, emigrated to the west coast of India from Persia to escape religious persecution after the Islamic conquest.
Followers of the Zoroastrian faith - irrespective of whether they are from India or elsewhere - are not necessarily Parsis. The modern legal definition of "Parsi" (see below) explicitly includes only persons who are descended from the original Persian immigrants. Although such a definition may initially appear elitist, it has legal and traditional reasons and ramifications (see below). The term Parsi itself means Persian.
Tajiks wake up your Parsi language and culture is under attack by the tribal and fascist Afghan Pashtuns... its a treason by a Tajik to call himself an Afghan
To stupid Afghan Pashtons; Rohullah Nekpai is a proud Hazara and his language is Parsi, do not attach yourselves to him cuz he hates you dirty savage Taliban Pashtons
If Tajiks of China can preserve their culture and language then its really a shame for Tajiks of Afghanistan to give up so easily by accepting the fake identity of Afghan and not caring for their own Parsi identity and language
