Robert Long was a politician in Seventeenth Century England.
He was the son of Sir Walter Long of Wraxhall and Draycot in Wiltshire. he served as Member of Parliament for Devizes from 1625, for Midhurst from 1640, and for Boroughbridge, Yorkshire from 1661. He held office of surveyor of the queen's lands; in 1644 he became secretary of the council for the Prince of Wales; at the Restoration he was made a baronet. In 1660 he was appointed Chancellor of the Exchequer. On 22 September 1670, Charles II granted him a long lease of the Great Park, Great Park Meadow, and a house called Worcester House, all at Nonsuch, Surrey. He was became a privy councillor and 1672. He died in 1673 and was buried in Westminster Abbey.
